Go And Tell Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Go And Tell

Go and tell

Dear pen
-listen well
-have secret
-want to share
-be new captain
-control, navigate
-no fear of life-wave
-left to right steer helm.

Please write of the eyes
-children's, my ex-wife's
-siblings', dad's and mom's
-and friends', past and now.

Recall the encounter after doc?
-near box taking us up and down
- (Those gorgeous green eyes?)

Remember how I joked?
-I told her: "Should've read, "
-she wondered, so I said: "sign on wall, "
-she remained mesmerised;
-I went on: "here, the beauties can't arrive! "
-With it I shattered ice that froze ambient,
-turned sweet, relations with smile.
Go, tell her I said hi.

What about the woman
-when filling in gas pump?
-whispering, I told her:
- "Heavens lie in your eyes."
-we saw her overjoyed, reverted
-surprised, fallen jaw; Indian at counter
-was puzzled: "What happened? "
Go, tell her I said hi.

World must know, I love all
-with my kids at peak, top…
Go, tell them I said hi.

Close lips; don't talk of…
