Hands in air
In news see some tanks
Next to them the soldiers
Engines off and hands up.
They take me into time
Stream of blood I recall
On blocks and asphalts.
Brothers and sisters in Europe
Those in peace, wealth, Salem
We have seen this for long…
We have seen much blood
Have left food ran for life
Fell the walls and the roofs
Bending Road turned valley…
Think enough is enough
Let us choose one shrine:
"Hey master kill the hate
Let's remove the revenge.
Send love-loads to remain."
I for one readily embrace this exchange.
Stop theses Wars! And seek for peace. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Heartiest Congratulations on the poem of the day as also for the call for loads of love in place of hate and revenge for the benefit of humanity on the whole.
Such a superb poem worthy to be chosen... congrats, Nassy.... Rated 10+++++
I totally agree. Kill the hate; love is the answer. Congrats on poem of the day.
The words of this poem is very moving. And had me grasping for air. The hidden message came across very strongly. Everything always rear its ugly head in the end. Congratulation! ! ! Penning together such meaningful verses.
Enough is enough. For something so continuously sought after and universally desired, peace yet remains such a tenuous reality. The problems arises from humanity; one would think that, as you so poetically express, the solution might also arise from humanity. But the world will keep on waiting and hoping...
