Remembering the days
When everything was
Unbelievably perfect
When life was easy
You could go through a day
Not having to worry
About anything

When running around in mud
Or splashing in the puddles
Was considered cute and adorable
Now it's just stupid and immature

I wish I could go back
To when boys had cooties
And by touching them
You'd get them too
Kissing was considered yucky
And laughing all day
Was just a habit

When the only thing you'd fake
Was a tummy ache
I wish I could go back
To when coming home
Was pleasant
And never dreadful

I wish I could go back
To a simpler time! ! !
