Go To Church Anyway Poem by Randy McClave

Go To Church Anyway

If you're having sex before marriage
And you feel a bit disparage,
And you feel like it's still okay
Go to Church anyway.
If you are an addict trying to beat an addiction
With life you feel to much friction,
And you believe no one cares about what you say
Go to Church anyway.
If you were out drunk all night the night before
Now inside of you, you feel a war,
And you have felt miserable all the day
Go to Church anyway.
If you aren't sure what gender you prefer
Don't know if you're a him or a her,
And you don't know if you are really okay
Go to Church anyway.
If you can't quit a disgusting habit
And you don't truly understand the sabbath,
If you don't know how to worship or pray
Go to Church anyway.
Church is a Hospital for the broken
As the Bible has spoken,
It is for the lost, empty, confused, desperate and rejected
It's for the poor, the needy and the neglected.
Church is for the weak and the hurt and the lost
It is for anyone who has paid the cost,
Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.
And the Church is always there with a suture.
