God Poem by Sarah Everson

God

Rating: 5.0

A proud cantankerous professor
had in his class a clever guesser.
No question proved to be his match
so the professor brought a batch

that he had found in grandma's chest.
He knew that grandma had known Best
and Best, an educated fool,
had been director of the school.

However, it was not to be
the student seemed to have a key
to solve all puzzles, clear and odd,
he said his real name was God.
