He Stays Poem by Sarah Everson

He Stays

Rating: 3.2

I also kissed
Two nordic eyes,
And held his hands
Beneath warm sheets
Where secrets sleep
And babies dream
Of life and happiness.
And, in the end,
The film called Misery,
Projects its magic
On to me,
I keep you now,
My treasured knight,
No freedom will be yours
Once we are through
This night.

I like the way you write. great imagery, but a sinister undertone towards the end. Or did I get that wrong? Can you explain the Misery ref?
