God Alone - Poem by Barbara Marie Mocke

God alone creates life, sustains life, redeems life,
He alone can create peace and joy from suffering and strife.
God alone creates the soul that gives brand new life
That no one can destroy with a pill or knife.
The endless tide of innocent blood
Will bring to all grief with earthquake, fire and flood.
We human beings are the only creatures on earth
That destroy our young before their birth.
We are the crowning glory of Gods creation
Now we seem determined to cause our own treamanation
We must put an end to death before birth
Or the just wrath of God may destroy this earth.
