God And The Dog
He wondered over
On that great day
When the thought
Of creation became My way
He looked up
And this was the message
He sent My way...
'Send me to'... he went on to say...
'I'll be his buddy
When all desert
No money or status
Can earn my love'
And so it was
On that great day
When God and the Dog
Talked away
