God Cannot Be Mock Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

God is not a toy to play with
He cannot be mocked or trifled with
Infinite and mighty, He stands tall
Defying all attempts to bring Him to a fall.

He is the alpha and omega, the beginning and end
Creator of all, with power to mend
No human can truly comprehend
The depths of His love, that knows no end.

His wisdom surpasses all understanding
His mercy, ever so commanding
Yet some still try to make a mockery
Not realizing the consequences of their blasphemy.

For God cannot be mocked, He is just
His justice will reign, in Him we must trust
He sees all, knows all, and hears all
No one can escape His righteous call.

So do not be deceived, by those who mock
For God cannot be shaken or be blocked
His love remains steadfast and true
To those who seek Him and His will pursue.

In His eyes, we are all His children
His grace and mercy, forever open
But mock Him not, for His wrath is real
And those who do, will surely feel.

So let us bow down, in humble adoration
For He is God, there is no substitution
May our hearts be filled with reverence and fear
For God cannot be mocked, He is always near.
