Why did we meet again
At our lives twilight zone,
Long, long ago, did we not reconcile,
We are not meant to unite.
With aching hearts and tear filled eyes,
Did we not say our good byes.
Knowing that the pain will not ease,
Memories we, never, can erase.
We did live our lives, world apart
Pretending the other one never did exist.
Still when we met again for a few moments,
Why our love got ignited?
Why could not we part again as strangers.?
Why did we resolve to renew our friendship?
Are we destined to unite in this life?
God has his own plans.
Wonders, he would perform,
Blunders, at times, we assume.
But god has definite plans.
