God Is On Every Side - Poem by Linda Kaye Lockhart

Don't try to run,
don't try to hide,
look all around,
God is on every side.

Look up past the polluted,
filthy air,
Look up into the blue sky
for God is there.

Look down past the garbage
and the grime,
Look down into the earth
for God is there

Look past the concrete
building, look inside,
Look at the people.
for God is there.

So if you can look and see
through all the filth, the
dirt and the grime.
look all around, on every side.
You'll see that
God is on every side.
