God Made It That Way Poem by Vera Sidhwa

God Made It That Way

God Made it That Way

God did not decide whether the world would be white,
So he held up his paintbrush till something came up right.
I did not know whether it was his passion
To run away with his thoughts.

God decided now to color the world his colors.
He had mentioned it to his arch angels.
He felt they would know, though he knew all.

He took out his paintbrush,
And colored green.
All his plants and grass
Would be green.

His arch angels decided
He would know best
So He colored the rest
And we can see his universe blessed.
