Love is a broken bottle inside pregnant wombs
Emotions are shattered glasses in baby's court
Hearts pounding me on the stakes of folly
Hearts were made to bleed!
God made tears for days like these

Love was blind and I wrote braille
Love was deaf, and I sang vibrations
My feet danced to the beats of a heart
Synching with symphonies of sweet melodies
That was never mine to hear, never mine to discover
God made tears for days like these

Broken, battered, battened, bashed, bristled, beaten
Burnt, bleached, blotted, bickered, banished, bludgeoned
My pains are unicorn's tear
Rare and beautiful, they are balms that heals
Tonight I'm happy and I'm proud that
God made tears for days like these

I am opening the flood gates
Clouds are begging to rain
Flooded thoughts, flawed hearts, fogged cognition
Some wishes come true, some others don't
Before you scold me to man up, know that
