God Protect You, Mother.... Poem by Mariana Eftimie Kabbout

God Protect You, Mother....

Rating: 5.0

Can you tell me mother, why the time’s passing?
Where are all the stories from my childhood?
There’s no answer ... just the leaves are rustling
When I get lost on a road between bad and good

The wind whispers softly a memory and longing...
The longing of the days when I was so young
Hold me now, please mother in your arms by singing
The song I love so much... the one you’ve always sung

Strech your hand and turn me back to be your kid
As I am still the same which I was before
Kill the dark shadow! It wants to let me feed
With only bitter loneliness and sadness ...nothing more...

Each day floats in space ... each hour goes by...
I feel myself becoming an invisible stain
I really need you mother, please don’t go to the sky
Don’t let the time to wrap me in sins and so much pain

You know that I’m crying ... I try to hide that
I dont want you to feel that sometimes I’m sad
I wish to have a power for give you all my life
And ask God to protect you for everything is bad

Because you’ve grown me up to be what I’m now
I kiss your hand , my mother and take with me your pain!
I want to stop the time but how to do that? ... how?
Can I be your lovely kid if I’ll be born again?
