I wonder what God is thinking
As we make out our to do lists
As we go from place to place
The weather so cool and crisp.

Decorations adorn our homes
The lights burning bright
Decorations out in our yards
Oh, what a brilliant sight.

The cities full of shoppers
Heads down, scurrying along
Listening so intently
At lovely Christmas songs.

God knows that we won't forget
Traditions that will forever stay
Behind all the excitement there is
A baby who was born Christmas day!
