God Superintends

God superintends an atmosphere
Beyond our comprehension
For where sin abounds grace much more
Demanding His full attention
Where His all encompassing love
Packed with forgiving grace
Is offering each sinner day by day
To seek the Master's face

The Spirit hovering to perform
The task to bring conviction
And to draw men to the Word
To consider Christ's Resurrection
Ready to enter repentant hearts
To bring the Angel's great joy
And bear witness to our spirit
We're birthed with Heaven's alloy

Our great God and our great Saviour
A tandem through and through
Giving us grace by the Spirit
To make us born a new
All bearing witness to God's superintending
His seeking for lost one's
So they might enjoy His presence forever
Being saved by the Crucified One!
