God Took Me In Poem by Princy Prince

I was lonely and lost
I was searching for the light
I had scars in my arm
I was already fallen

The darkness covered me
It blinded my sight
I screamed inside
And no one was there to hear me cry

God stepped in
He held me in his arm
He told me i am precious in his sight

God took me in
He welcomed me in his home
He did not care if i had scars
He treated me as his pearl


I thought i would never see the light
And i thought he would never catch me when i fall
He took me as his own
And he erased my past

And told me, i am clean

He forgave my sins
He looked past my scars
He fixed my heart
And told me
Love never dies

God stepped in
He held me in his arm
He told me, i was worth more

God took me in
He welcomed me in his home
He gave me a new self
And made my soul pure

He left his spirit in me
He said, the spirit will guide you
He said, i will be your new friend
And you will never regret it,
In the future that is to come

He gave me a gift
A gift to talk to him
Whenever i would want to
It is a special communication
But it is alanguage known by man

God walked in
He told me i am strong
Where an average person would fall

God showed me
He loved me more than anyone
His love is pure as white

God took me in in to his home.
