Goddamn Its Hot Down Here - Poem by Eric Markisen

carried away in the sea of lonliness
stranded on only my thoughts
of life
and everything i lack
im being lacked of
the soul existance of mine own lifes path
its paths
the only way to travel is under
the trance of life in the altered
minds cry out among
the dead na the unscathed
dream of death to be saved
to live theirs deaths
and squeeze all from their loins
sensless quanderies of time and space
and all that i can and cant dream up
live up
break up your lifestyles edge
so pure and clean
sort of
whats wrong
i only wanted to be
to be loved
