Goddess Poem by Katherine H. Belle

Goddess

I want to taste your skin, your sin
to see if you truly are some god.
I want to drink from the pools
of your never ending eyes
see if you can bring me closer to heaven.
Closer to something this side of ecstasy.
Is it poison that escapes from your ever moving lips?
or is it truly some ambrosial fruit.
Sweet nectar pouring from every orifice of your body
Screaming insanities into the night
can you heal me?
Can you hear me?
I am calling to you,
Oh goddess.
I am calling.
