Gods Peace Poem by Brenda Harper

Gods Peace

I yearn for the road of peace
The one I walked when I was a child
The one the trees are all covered in snow
The one where I was alone with nowhere to go
The silence and stillness that was in the air
The sharpness of the cold everywhere
As if I was walking through a beautiful wonder land
A paradise just for me from his hand
As he showed me beauty unbeknown to me
My sorrow for the day would escape
And be set free
My thoughts and attention all went to him
And set my heart free and
Peace would come just for a day for me
