Haunted Soul Poem by Brenda Harper

Haunted Soul

He whispers to me
As his shadow takes place
I see him and I know
Why he has presented me with his grace
He has proven his point
It is as clear as the day
I will lose my will to live
I will lose my will to find my way
His laughter is silent
But deafening to my ear
It crumbles my will
As the madness is near
My strength is weakening
My head goes low
The tears of hope within are gone
