Going Past The Eye Poem by Richard Hinz

Going Past The Eye

We all should have a protective inclination
To protect the eye
With the eye we see
And what the eye sees
We may become

And some...

Oh, .. what other is this that does not the eye see!
I ask you?

Who sees as it goes past the eye
And why do eyes cry
Alone now
I beg to see
Without my eye
It hinders me
To see
