A golden halo
Appears
From behind the door.
Beautiful
Beaming smile.
Abundance of
Love.
Eyes
That speak true
To the heart.
The sight fills
The soul
To overflowing.
Trials of life
Disappear
From view
As you behold
This loveliness.
The purity
And innocence
Wrapped in such
A small bundle.
The simplicity
Enfolded in the
Complication
Of life, of consequence,
Of actions taken
And thoughts kept
Unspoken.
A golden halo
Appears from behind the door.
A beautiful
Beaming smile.
Years later
Still the
Abundance
Of Love.
The soul
Filled
To overflowing.
I smile
To myself.
Goodness
Has grown.
