Golden Moments Poem by June FeirCruz

Golden Moments

I always try to be kind to anyone who touches my life
I have always hoped that even one life would breathe easier
because I have lived.
I never thought I would need anyone to make it in this crazy life,
In this realm, we call earth.

I am untamed in so many ways
A volcano that may erupt unexpectedly
I am a train wreck, unpredictable even to myself
And yet you never falter, you never fail me
You just love me, like I have never been loved before.

My golden moments are when I am with you
When time stood still because I am in your presence
Your kindness, your gentleness broke down all my defenses
And I am eternally grateful for everything that you are to me.

My golden hour is when I had made the choice
To have you in my life no matter what the cost
There is no rhyme nor reason and caution was thrown to the wind
And I will never regret what this love would bring.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

And yes June, there is one life that does breathe a little easier because you have lived. ME. Thank you for being there when I needed someone. I still need someone too, but I can read these poems, and know that you really care from deep in your soul. When we have the Lord Jesus, the son of the living God, by our side, we are able to breathe better, our burdens become lighter, and we have that certain glow of life, that only He can give us. Very well written. A 10+ Love & hugs, Barbara
