Golden Sun... - Poem by Bianca Harkild

Golden sky with a slight breeze
Calm flat water and white rough sand
The wind on my skin is warming me
Watching the grains sift through my hands
The rough sand marking my knees

The view from where I sit is grand
Behind my eyes this is what I see
Families living on the land
All happy being Aussies

Hoping the day will not be bland
Knowing that this is where I will be
Hoping that this is what I planned
Men out fishing in dinghies

The ocean's beauty all out spanned
The happy feeling is all of glee
