Gone Poem by emily summers

Gone

If i was gone would you care?
If i ran away would you notice i wasn't there?
Why am i so insignificant to you?
Is it because you're blind in love with a new 'baby boo? '
Well, let me say one thing,
if she is your everything,
and the feeling is mutual,
why does she go on 'business trips' for weeks without so much as a phonecall?
business trips don't last that long,
ask her whats going on,
because i swear, i'll walk out that door,
i'll throw my belongings on a hotel floor,
because even though you are my dad,
you make me fuming mad,
we can tell she's taking you for a fool,
and frankly she drives me up the wall,
treating our home as a crash pad,
not acting like a mother but one of the lads,
everyone see's,
she's after your money,
you know she's a gold digger,
she wraps you around her finger,
she loathes me and you know that,
she calls me a little brat,
so don't worry i won't be long,
just call me a cab and i'll be gone.
