Gone - Poem by Sara Ford
When I woke up to the thunder
you were already gone.
It would have been better
if your spot on the bed had been cold,
but it was still warm.
If I had gotten up,
would I have caught you in the driveway?
If I had caught you,
would it have made a difference?
