Gone As If To Die Poem by Alyssa Lippi

Gone As If To Die

Rating: 4.8

The loss of a loved one
hard to bare
but even harder for her
The death, , so intensely burning her heart
heating the tears that stream down her cheeks

No one else feels

her mind can't believe
that she'll never see his smile
never hear his laugh
never feel the warmth of his arms around her
but his death only effects her
only hurts her
only tears her in half

No one else feels

Only she feels his absence
day after day after day

Because he's only dead to her
gone to her heart, eyes, hands
forever

No one else feels
