Gone But Not Forgotten Poem by Alexander Villegas

Gone But Not Forgotten

I may not be able to hold her body
But she has moved on and is finally happy
Feeling her lips against mine is a feeling that is no more
They were so smooth, such a galore!
I can't feel the pulse of her heart
She'll find a new home, a fresh start
Her voice tells me to move on
But my mind tells me that my love with her is where it belongs
I won't find another girl so sweet
Not until death, when we will meet.
