Gone But Not Forgotten (To The Members Experiencing Loss In Canteen) Poem by Harrison Bishop

Gone But Not Forgotten (To The Members Experiencing Loss In Canteen)

I've been thinking of you a lot recently
You were taken away too early
This is what makes me sad.

Not being able to hear your voice
Or not being able to see you smile
This is what makes me sad.

Forced into seclusion and stuck in bad times
Plagued with disjointed thoughts of what could have been
This is what makes me sad.

I gained a friend and lost a friend
We said we'd stick together until the end
This is what makes me sad.

Just want to let everyone know;
WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.
TO SUPPORT, DEVELOP, EMPOWER.
