Good Advice Poem by Allen Ross

Good Advice

Reveal intentions too soon and you'll look weak
Conceal motives too long and you'll appear shallow
Appeal to man's higher nature and remain meek
Unreal expectations can lead you to the gallows

Confide your thoughts to very few persons
Decide how to say them before you speak
Untried lines may cause matters to worsen
Provide yourself time to think and then tweak
