When sickness comes, and you feel weak,
Medicine helps, that's what you seek.
To make you better, strong and well,
A little help, the doctors tell.
But sometimes all pills, they have a sting,
A different ache, they start to bring.
Like tummies upset, or feeling low,
Side effects we didn't know.
For special pills, like statins bright,
Made in a lab, with all their might,
We use them when we truly must,
When health's survival is the only trust.
Because the body, it sure can groan,
With troubles that are not the body's own.
After the doctor's kind decree,
We think of what they do
to thee.
So pills are good, when need is great,
But watch the ripples, seal our fate.
For every good, a shadow near,
We weigh the good, and face the fear.
