When you leave,
And go so far away.
It feels like a part of me,
Is being ripped away.
I’m not so great at
Saying good bye.
What if I forget to trust you,
I wont be able to see your eyes.
All the things you taught me,
Helped me to overcome.
Protected from the ways of this world,
Shielded from everyone,
Who tried to hurt me..
But now you are going to be gone,
You’ll be too far away.
And all alone now I will be,
No longer have you to save me.
You say you will still be there,
Still we can connect.
But I am so filled with doubt,
What if you leave and
We keep up for a little while,
But after the days have passed,
We’ll no longer be so close.
I want you to stay here,
To never leave me.
Why do you have to go so far away..
It breaks my heart,
I’m torn in two.
Good bye to you,
I love you.
