Good Results? Poem by Martin Holm Sjölin

Good Results?

As the world dawns from the history of war.
A terrible curse has occurred.
A project of Manhattan, with the greatest minds.
And with a message of salvation.

Enola Gay is the saviour, and it's cargo a blessing.
But the sight is horrible, and the effects even worse.
A mushroom is all we see, and the people never to be.
Nevermore will it grow
And never again will they fight,

Fight against us.
And the war is over,
But is this the result that we wanted?
A hot war changes the world.
A cold own will see it fall.
