I was looking through the croud and I saw,
Something that no paws not even one small claw,
I saw someone who I thought I did love,
I thought this person was sent from above,
He and me thought we were meant to be,
But we were not meant to be, him and me,
So I just ignored him and walked away,
I stopped and turned but i did not stay,
To forget him would be a hard delay,
He glanced at me and i could tell he knew,
'I will never find another quite like you'
I merely said nothing but i waved goodbye,
I walked away and heard him softly sigh,
I walked away but turned and said goodbye.
And that Sarah is the wisdom to know when to remain silent. Sometimes in our lives, we know who we are meant to be with, and who not to. This poem gives the reader food for thought, because we have all been there. This reminds me of my marriage that is coming to a close right now, because my spouse is way too controlling, and violent, and before I get hurt, I have to leave. This poem was written with emotion, and from the heart, and I love the soft tone you use in your chosen words. I give you a 10 for this, Sarah, and always WRITE ON! ! ! ! ! Love & hugs, Barbara
