Goodbye Poem by mercedes abrahamson

Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

She sits at a desk
A pencil in her hand
A paper blank and bare
Nothing is written there
She puts the pencil to the paper and she writes
¨it's a disgrace i was misplaced
Brought in the wrong time and in the wrong place
I can't deal with the pain i'm not a fighter¨
She griped her pencle tighter
As her eyes filled with tears
For all those painful years
¨please just forget
Forget me and move on dad, mom
Cuz i'm nothing to be dwelled on¨
As she cries more her eyes get sore from all those held in tears from all those painful years
¨i lost my fight please just hold on tight¨
She cries as she finely writs
¨ill watch over you with my tear freed eyes
This is it world good bye¨
She wiped her eyes as she sniffed
She stood, stood there in the mirror
With her shaking hand she picks up
The gun that will stop her pain stop the hurt
She was a soldier and this is her final salute
She put it to her head she stares, stared at the face in the mirror
She she takes one last breath
Looks as her final tear falls
She closes her eyes and whispers the words
¨good bye¨
She no longer can here
She no longer has fear she can no longer feel
Her broken heart can finally heal
The walls splattered with blood
As she falls still clutching the gun
Her body falls cold
And her sole is free
Now she is forever happy
All you can here are her last words
The last words she will ever say on this day
¨goodbye¨

Goodbye

But why? Listen please. There is more pain ahead because you are not going to take revenge from the responsible person. Thanks for hearing.
