I was swinging on the swings in my backyard.
On my way to neverland.
I was licking lollypops.
And holding my mothers hand.
I was spilling my milk.
Sleeping with a teddy bear.
Scared of the dark.
Learning how to share.
I ate from the cookie jar.
Had naps during the day.
I couldnt reach the counter.
Some things I couldnt say.
I couldn't spell special.
Or turn the handle of the door.
I awnsered easy questions like.
Two plus two equals four.
Everything was easy.
I drank from a sippy cup.
But everything has changed.
It's called growing up.

this is cute and so true I really like it. when you are growing up you dont worry about anything then as you get older you have homework, then a job, some day a family and a house. Yet for some reason kids always wish to grow up faster. good job. Becca
