Goodnight - Poem by SharonAnn Dawson

Once
when i was a kid
I watched you climb a tree.
Effortlessly.

Twice
when I was a teenager
I cried when you walked passed.
Busy, Harrassed.

Now
When we share our bed
You hold me tight.
Goodnight.
