Grand Finale Poem by Bharat Trivedi

Grand Finale

Startled pigeons
flap their fragile wings,
and I wake up -
and see you in deep sleep besides me,
lost in your own dream world
unperturbed by the earthly sounds.

Asleep, semi-nude in the opal twilight
tranquil, like a foetus in a womb.
I’m aroused by the cologne of
sweat trickling down
the valley of your twin orbs.

My spidery fingers feel
the firm fullness of your flaming flesh.
and play with the protuberances of your dusk-dripping body.
You stir from your sweet slumber
Stilettos of libido
slash away the silk skinny robes
and stab the bellies of lust.

The musky perfume of your navel maddens me and
my fugitive flesh knock on your door of desires
and we drown in torrid bodily fluids,
Murmuring insane profanities
trembling with ecstasy,
you surrender your body & soul to me.
While I climb the curvy walls of body,
to cross the fleshy fence
and dive deep into pools of passion
to be plunged into a wet slippery cave.

You flutter beneath my rhythmic thrusts
creating silvery ripples on the doused sheets
while orgasmic horses gallop
faster and faster to reach
a thundering climax!
The scent of ecstasy still lingers in the air
while in the silhouette of shadows,
our entwined naked outlines dance
to a grand finale…
