Grandchildren Poem by Marsha Youree

Grandchildren

You know God saved the best for last,

It is his gift from Heaven above;

He sends them down on angel's wings,

In little tiny bundles of love.

The sweetest touch of Heaven,

God sent to live with us on earth;

Is right here within our grandchildren,

It's in the miracle of their birth.

The first time that I held them,

They were so innocent and sweet

Right then, they stole my heart

And made my life complete.

God saves grandchildren for last,

Sent down from Heaven above;

These tiny bundles of pink and blue

My beautiful grandchildren to love.
