Grandmothers Poem by Akinde Joy

Grandmothers

Women that have gone through a lot,
Women to be proud of,
Women to be seen as models,
Women of great courage,
with strong minded thoughts.

Women who serves as giants in their neighborhood,
Women whose beauty can't be compared to the summer view,
Women that smiles and the whole world stops to stare,
Always punctilious in whatever they do,
with the strength of eagles
O! ! ! GRANDMOTHERS

Women thriving hard to overcome life's challenges,
Though old age is creeping in,
They still portray an outstanding confidence,
Their gray hair serves as their beauty crown,
With wisdom beyond compare.

Stubborn are they at times,
And frustrating they may be,
Having the aura of old days,
Acting as abecedarians and learning ostentatiously
They compare their days to ours,
And get scared easily.

Above all they are all great exhorters,
They serve as a means of;
Life
Strength
Joy
Comfort
Happiness
Best friend
Love
Twin
To us
GOSH! ! ! GRANDMOTHERS ARE THE BEST.
