Grandpa Sat On A Park Bench Poem by Tony Avila Sampson

Grandpa Sat On A Park Bench

Rating: 5.0

Faith, I need you,
I sat on some glue;
Reach out and pull on my hand,
Woe, behind I'm stretching... like a long rubber band!

Help! It's pulling me back,
Your other hand, grab onto that wood stack;
Keep pulling, don't let go!
Wow, behind me, look what's in tow;

Can't catch the bus,
There's a park bench that's following us;
Why am I stuck?
Hummm, it's a big wad of chewing gum! Yuk!
