Graphology: Alcor And Mizar Poem by Andrei Sen-Senkov

Graphology: Alcor And Mizar

an ancient roman soldier
getting his vision tested
had to be able to see
that one of the stars on the handle of the big dipper
was doubled
then he would be taken to look to kill
to peer at to plunder
to examine to rape

starlight struck him twice in the eye
like it was repeating
like it was learning to forge the signature of someone blindingly illiterate
