Michel Foucault, First Trimester Poem by Andrei Sen-Senkov

Michel Foucault, First Trimester

the embryo is growing
obediently repeating all the stages of evolution

now it already has one ear for the word to go in
and another ear for it to fly out

having gone in and out and taken off and flown around some
the word settles down on the upper lip
like a plantain leaf on a wound
