Gratitude Is The Seed Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Gratitude Is The Seed

Gratitude is the seed that blooms within,
In times of joy and sorrow, it will grow,
Nurtured by kindness, it will not thin,
For it is the root of all blessings, we know.

With humble hearts, we sow this precious seed,
In fertile soil, with love and care we tend,
Through all life's seasons, it will indeed,
Blossom into a flower that will not bend.

Though trials may come, gratitude will stay,
A steadfast anchor, grounding us in grace,
Its beauty shines, like sun on a new day
And in its presence, negativity will erase.

For every act of thankfulness we sow,
Gratitude will flourish and love will flow,
It whispers in the summer's gentle breeze,
And dances in the autumn leaves so bright.

It sings in raindrops and rustles in trees,
A reminder to be grateful day and night,
In winter's chill and spring's awakening,
Gratitude remains, a guiding light.

Through all life's ups and downs, it's beckoning,
To find joy in the simplest things in sight,
For gratitude is the seed that bears fruit,
Of peace, contentment, and a grateful heart.

It grows and spreads, taking root,
In all those who choose to play their part,
So let us sow gratitude, for it will bring,
A harvest of blessings and a heart that sings.

In gratitude's embrace, a seed is sown,
A tender sapling, nurtured by the soul,
With roots that delve deep, unseen and grown,
A beacon of appreciation's toll.

Like morning dew, it glistens in the light,
Reflecting rays of kindness, pure and true,
A symphony of thankfulness takes flight,
As gratitude's melody breaks through.

In every act of giving and receiving,
A seed of gratitude begins to bloom,
A fragrant blossom, gently interweaving,
A tapestry of joy dispels all gloom.

So let us sow these seeds with open hearts,
And cultivate a garden of gratitude,
For in its depths, true wealth imparts,
A harvest of contentment, ever renewed.
