Great Secret Poem by William Kofoed

Great Secret

When I as little
Doing thing little boys do
I learned a secret
That parents hide
Little boys are waterproof
They don't dissolve in rain
They won't shrink
And don't ever smell bad
Their colors don't run
Jumping in puddles is safe
It alarmed my parents
They tried to stop me
But I still go out in the rain
Because I am waterproof
