Greed Poem by Sylvia L. Wisner Molina

Greed

Rating: 5.0

Making it to the top, Top of my game
Conquering all, Love, Fortune and Fame
Living a life of which most can only dream
Still something missing deep down inside of me
Constantly pushing me to acquire more
And...
The more I acquire, Even to the point of Soar
The more I soar still want more, more, more
Don't know how to stop to set myself free
This Greed...
It's killing me

Times of wishing and wanting to be is all behind me
Set that goal, Reached that gotta top that and out do me
More than enough ain't good enough, Gotta reach pass soar
So...
The more I acquire, Even to the point of soar
The more I soar still want more, more, more
Don't know how to stop to set myself free
This Greed...
It's killing me

To what extent will I go to get what I think I need
Lie? , Steal? , Cheat, Chit chat on Snapchat telling the world all about that
Losing my soul for worldly things I don't really need
What the Hell's wrong with me? Must be my cry out for help
Jain In Jail I don't wanna be, I'm lowered to my knees
God Help me Please! ! ! Set me free
This Greed...
Will be the death of me
