Greedy Cruel Sea - Poem by Konjit Berhane
A bunch of 3rd world dreamers
Brave enough to cross the sea
To turn their hopes….
In to reality
When their boats sunk
and their lives are gone
The pieces of dreams float in the sea
Shining its surface like the sun
Oh cruel sea…! !
You took them all
But their soul*(their names to call)
For all those who lost their lives crossing the Mediterranean and other seas lookin for a better life.
