You saw an ugly green eyed monster..
with fear, instantly hate it at sight
its eyes are in deep green and full of fury
run so fast you wanted to do at once

its mouth is oozing with filthy words
that you can't distinguish anymore..
asked yourself why have this happen
to this once wonderful creature?

suddenly in haste you decide to put this
deadly loathsome creature in a cage
it suddenly cried, sparkling tiny drops fell
while in captive, it started to be silent

the fury, vile and grimy face was gone
soft eyes stared at you in a glance
and you decided to feed the creature
with love, security, trust and respect

crazy but you told this thing you will
never leave her and won't find another
she fell quiet and suddenly smiled
most beautiful you have ever seen

with curiosity you changed the habit
you decided to feed this thing with
insecurity, lies, betrayal and deceit..
instantly it evolved into the ugliest
form you have ever seen in your life

alas you realized its not the creature
that is the problem, you now know
it only reacts to what you give and offer
to this tame, meek and mild thing..

after knowing this, it now troubled you
with all the changes of habit and emotions
started to ask one huge question, is it the
one in the cage the real monster or is it you?
