Green Fields - Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

In a faraway land
where spirits roam freely
fields are green
and silent
now

I often dream
of companions
who fell
and lie silent
in valleys
far from home

rest in peace
comrades

The simplicity of this poem lends a particular poignancy to this remembrance. Wonderful writing Michael. (Report)Reply

Great poem Sir Michael. Those that have fallen deserve fond memory and added respect. God bless all poets and readers alike-MJG. (Report)Reply
